system (see Water-Steam-Condensate Cycle section) and as such, its proper operation depends on several secondary components, normally referred to as auxiliary equipment. Key boiler auxiliary equipment includes the following:<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cc81778 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"cc81778\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">A. BOILER FEEDWATER PUMP<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-08864c0 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"08864c0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Selecting a multi-pass, centrifugal pump with high efficiency stainless steel interiors is recommended for boilers from 30 HP on.  For smaller boilers, a turbine pump can be used.\n<br><br>\nThere exist a number of options in the pump market (including Goulds eSV model and Grundfos CR model) that comply with the requirements discussed above and that can be repaired without having to be disassembled. Furthermore, by keeping spare parts kits on hand you avoid having to have a second, stand-by pump installed.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9ed3443 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"9ed3443\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">B. FEEDWATER TANK OR ATMOSPHERIC DEAERATOR<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-57fc196 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"57fc196\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default translation-block\">The feedwater tank should have sufficient water storage capacity to feed a boiler for 20 minutes. (If two or three boilers share the same tank, the same principle should be applied, multiplying by the number of boilers in operation simultaneously with the same tank.).<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-19c10e2 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"19c10e2\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ca5ce7b elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"ca5ce7b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.powermaster.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Equipo-Auxiliar-768x576.jpg\" class=\"attachment-medium_large size-medium_large wp-image-8486\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.powermaster.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Equipo-Auxiliar-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.powermaster.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Equipo-Auxiliar-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.powermaster.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Equipo-Auxiliar-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.powermaster.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Equipo-Auxiliar-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.powermaster.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Equipo-Auxiliar.jpg 1772w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3964331 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"3964331\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a21e166 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a21e166\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">If the tank will operate efficiently, with a high rate of condensate return, it makes sense to order a larger capacity vessel (between 20-25% bigger) from the beginning of the project as this will permit the storage of large amounts of condensates in a short amount of time.\n<br><br>\nIf your process does not factor in a percentage (even if it is small) of condensate return, it will be necessary to install a steam preheating system, which at the same time will operate as an atmospheric deaerator, eliminating 99% of the oxygen from the boiler feedwater.\n<br><br>\nThe height of the condensate tank is a function of the height required by the feedwater pump so that cavitation does not occur.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-877dda5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"877dda5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">C. STEAM HEADER<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e368b1c elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"e368b1c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">When the system has two or more boilers, it is convenient to install a steam header.  The steam header is a large tube with cap lids where the steam from two or more boilers is collected and then distributed via separate outlets to the different processes.  It is necessary to use steam valves in a steam header.\n<br><br>\nThe header must have an upper connection for the pressure gauge and two lower connections \u2013 one for drain and the other for a filter and a condensate trap.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d0b75f0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"d0b75f0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">D. WATER SOFTENER<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0edf502 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0edf502\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default translation-block\">A water softener is a fundamental piece of auxiliary equipment for any boiler as it removes the hardness from any water entering the boiler and therefore protects against scale (see Water Treatment section) that reduce the useful life of the boiler and void its guarantee.\n<br><br>\nWater treatment plants (for demineralization or reverse osmosis) can be used in conjunction with or in place of the water softener.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u3164 EQUIPO AUXILIAR NECESARIO \u3164 Una caldera es un componente de un sistema m\u00e1s amplio (ver Ciclo de Agua-Vapor-Condensados) y como tal, su correcto funcionamiento depende de otros componentes secundarios que normalmente son llamados equipos auxiliares para caldera y que son: A.
