Calderas Powermaster is an industrial group dedicated to the manufacturing of fire tube boilers for the production of steam and hot water, thermal fluid heaters, and their auxiliary equipment. For over 50 years, we have provided high quality products and services to our clients, demonstrating both a willingness to innovate and a firm commitment to integrity and excellence.

1949

1954

Starting in 1954, production of the Powermaster boiler in Mexico began under the Orr & Sembower license.

1975

In 1975, Calderas Powermaster Group acquired exclusive rights to the “Powermaster” brand and technology in Mexico.

1984

In 1984, Calderas Powermaster Group was restructured. At this time, it began to incorporate European technology into the original design, achieving a new, safer and more efficient boiler that was not only more reliable but had lower maintenance requirements as well.

1988

In 1988, to comply with the International Organization for Standardization standard ISO/DIN 5730, Calderas Powermaster redesigned the furnace of its boilers, achieving a longer useful life for the boiler while simultaneously reducing the heat fatigue coefficient of the furnace. The redesign also resulted in a cleaner combustion, thanks to a considerable improvement in the flame release coefficient.

1989

In 1989, the refractory in the turnaround chamber was replaced by a water-cooled gas return chamber (“Wet-Back”) that is featured in all boilers from the 80 HP model on. The change permitted taking full advantage of the boiler’s heat and eliminating the weakness of the fire tube boiler, as well as the production of larger capacity boilers.

1993

In 1993, the construction of the new plant in San Juan del Rio, Queretaro, Mexico was completed. It is a modern plant with a production area of 46,285 square feet on a 69,965 square foot property available for future growth. In addition, our facilities are furnished with traveling cranes, a stress release oven, and high capacity production machinery that have enabled us to meet increasing market demand as our client base expands.

1994

In 1994, Calderas Powermaster Group obtained authorization from the National Board to stamp the American Society of Mechanical Engineer’s S, H, and U stamps on our boilers and pressure vessels.

2000

In 2000, a 10,225 square foot factory expansion project, made necessary by the continued growth of the company, was completed, bringing the total production area to 56,510 square feet.

2011

In 2011, Calderas Powermaster Group acquired the “Powermaster” brand in the United States and began marketing its boilers in the US market.

2014

In 2014 Calderera del Centro SA de CV obtains the ISO9001 certification for its quality control system.

2018

The factory expands adding a second building to accommodate the rising export order demand.

2020 & 2021

2020: Installation of solar panels for factory energy consumption.

2021: Expansion of solar energy capacity.
